The JCB2LE-80M RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overload Protection) is designed to provide comprehensive protection for consumer installations or switchboards in a variety of environments, including industrial, commercial, high-rise buildings and residential.

These electronic RCBOs offer a range of features including residual current protection, overload and short circuit protection and a breaking capacity of 6kA. With current ratings up to 80A (6A to 80A optional), they are suitable for a wide range of applications. In addition, they are available with B-curve or C trip curves with trip sensitivity options of 30mA, 100mA and 300mA.

RCBOs are also available in Type A or AC models and are supplied with bipolar switches for complete isolation of fault circuits. In addition, their neutral pole switching significantly reduces installation and commissioning test times, making them efficient and easy to use.

Importantly, these RCBOs comply with IEC 61009-1 and EN61009-1 standards, ensuring they meet the safety and performance requirements required for their intended application.

    In addition to their primary function of providing ground fault/leakage current and isolation protection, these RCBOs are also equipped with alarm features to easily monitor circuit conditions.     Additionally, these RCBOs feature high short-circuit current withstanding capabilities, ensuring reliable performance even under extreme conditions. Its fire-resistant plastic parts are designed to withstand abnormal heating and severe impact, adding extra safety and durability.
    The RCBO is also designed to provide active protection against potential hazards by automatically opening the circuit when a ground fault/leakage current occurs and the rated sensitivity is exceeded. Importantly, they are independent of mains and line voltages and are not affected by external interference and voltage fluctuations, ensuring consistent and reliable operation.
    These RCBOs provide additional protection in the case of direct contact when IΔn ≤ 30 mA, and preventive fire protection in the case of earth faults when IΔn ≤ 300 mA. In addition, type AC ensures sinusoidal alternating current tripping, whether rapidly applied or slowly increasing, while type A ensures sinusoidal alternating residual current and pulsed direct current residual current tripping, providing comprehensive protection in every situation.
