    Introduction

The JCB3-63DC miniature DC circuit breaker is an essential component for solar/photovoltaic systems, energy storage and other DC applications. It is specifically designed to be placed between the battery and hybrid inverter, providing reliable protection and security to the entire system.
JCB3-63DC DC circuit breaker is equipped with advanced arc extinguishing and flash barrier technology to ensure fast and safe interruption of current. Its protective functions include thermal and electromagnetic releases, available in 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-pole versions with a switching capacity of 6kA (according to IEC/EN 60947-2). The DC rated voltage of each pole is 250V, the maximum rated voltage is 1000V DC, and it has a wide range of applications.
With current ratings ranging from 2A to 63A, JCB3-63DC circuit breakers offer enhanced functionality, improved connectivity, superior performance and higher levels of safety. Its breaking capacity of up to 6kA ensures reliable protection against fault currents.
In addition, the JCB3-63DC DC circuit breaker can be securely locked in the OFF position using a padlock device, providing an additional safety measure when disassembling the PV inverter. It is also capable of detecting and protecting bidirectional currents, ensuring total safety of the entire installation.
In order to further improve safety, it is recommended that circuit breakers be used in conjunction with additional protection devices, such as AC side leakage protection devices, DC side fault channel detectors (insulation monitoring devices), ground protection circuit breakers, etc. DC side. Quick action on site is crucial to clear any faults, as protection may not be ensured in the event of a double fault.
It is worth noting that the JCB3-63DC DC circuit breaker is not polarity sensitive, allowing the (+) and (-) lines to be reversed without any risk. In addition, it is equipped with three interpole barriers to increase the isolation distance between two adjacent connectors, further enhancing the safety and reliability of the entire system.
